What is Microblading and how does it work?
Microblading is an extremely popular treatment where a needle very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair strokes.
At Marco Benito, we always have a pre-treatment consultation where we do a patch on your skin at least 24 hours before the procedure. We recommend booking your treatment within two weeks of your consultation.
On the day of the appointment, we will draw on the eyebrow shape according to the precision of the ration measuring tool. Brows are measured perfectly to compliment your unique face shape and size.
We will assist in choosing the perfect colour to match your skin tone and expectations. Initial strokes are placed, then the numbing cream is applied to limit any discomfort you may feel. Pigment is worked into each stroke to define the brow. Afterwards, a pigment mask is left to absorb into the skin.
Once that is completed, we cleanse the area thoroughly. Finally, we apply a medical silicone that will remain on the skin for 12-24 hours. At this time we will explain all of the aftercare procedure and you will receive after care lotion. You’ll walk away with delightfully defined brows and a spring in your step!
